The Front Steps
Thanks to COVID-19 the last few weeks have turned so many lives upside down. There is chaos in all of our homes. Schools are closed. Most businesses are forced to shut down (we pray temporarily). The grocery stores are bare... finding toilet paper is rare. Gatherings of more than 10 people are not allowed. Graduations and Proms canceled. Church services are online. So many families are quarantined in their homes, trying to figure out working remotely, homeschooling, and being physically distanced from their friends, extended family, church families, and neighbors.
In so much uncertainty, I am choosing to see the good. The hidden blessing. I invite you to your front steps. As I practice physical distancing, staying the recommended 6+ feet away, I hope document this time for you & your family. Come as you are, in your comfy clothes. If getting dressed up makes you feel better... DO IT! If your graduation or prom was canceled... put on your cap & gown or prom dress. Let's make something beautiful out of all this.
I pray that through these photos people can look back at this time, remember the glimmer of good in these uncertain time, and the hope of tomorrow.
