Amy & Jackson
When I first met this couple, they were modeling for a styled photoshoot in Knoxville, TN that was being produced by several fantastic Knoxville Area Wedding Vendors. Immediately, I could see how much they adored one another. They both had this ease about them, that came from their comfort and confidence in one another. We laughed that entire shoot, and by the end of the day they had asked if I would shoot their "for real" wedding. As I grew to know them more over the next several months, they easily became some of my favorite people. During their Engagement Session, it was evident that Jackson was head over heels for Amy. It was then that I thought to myself, " Every girl wants a man to look at her the way that Jackson looks at Amy."
Upon arrival to The Clark House in Livingston, TN for their wedding, we were met with SO MUCH RAIN. I am talking a complete down pour. We decided to make the best of the situation. Amy never even seemed stressed, focusing her engird and excitement towards beginning her marriage to Jackson. As the bridal party began getting ready, and I shot photos of their details & accessories, I just kept praying that the Lord would send us just a little sunshine, or at least stop the down pour. Amy & Jackson decided to share a few private moments together during a first look, before heading to the church for some formal portraits. We did these on the front porch of The Clark House, as at it was still sprinkling at this point. Then we headed to the church for a few formal portraits before the ceremony. Thankfully, our prayers were heard and by the time the Ceremony was about to begin, the sun was shining and it turned into the most beautiful light!
After the ceremony we were able to grab some great portraits at the Clark House, while guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. Followed by a reception full of laughter & dancing. I am so honored to have been part of Amy & Jackson's story, and I am happy to share a few of their photos with you. Enjoy.....
